All of this contribute to reduced thermals, which can lead to overheating, loud fans and unstable performance. Disc based systems are especially are susceptible to age related issues; grease dries up, debris accumulates on the laser rails, and gears can become encrusted with grime.
 
This premium refurbishment service is designed for working consoles that could use a complete overhaul to keep them running cool, smooth and extend their lifespan for years to come!
 
What is included?
Complete teardown and deep cleaning (inside and out)
Ultrasonic cleaning of all plastic parts
Ultrasonic cleaning of electronic parts using a specialized solution (safe for boards)
Fresh thermal paste/brand new thermal pads
Reflow of any loose solder joints
Clock Capacitor replaced
Port cleaning (HDMI, AV, controller ports, etc)
New CMOS battery installed (when applicable)
Optical drive is cleaned, and gears (if applicable) and laser rails are lubricated.
Final reassembly and full functionality testing
 
What is NOT included?
Repairs to faulty or non-functional components
(if anything is found to be faulty, a separate quote will be provided)
Replacement of parts such as lasers, HDDs, capacitors, etc.
Heavy bug infestations
Active infestations: system will be bagged, returned and a cleaning fee will be charged
Inactive infestations: an additional cleaning fee applies on top of the refurbishment cost
