Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?

I offer a range of services. I offer repair services. If your system isn't working, reach out and I will tell you if I can help! I also offer refurbishment services. If your system is a little rough around the edges but is working, I can do a refurbishment service to your console like I do with the consoles I sell and feature on my YouTube Channel.

How long will it take for my repair?
Repair times will vary depending on the issue, parts availability and how many orders come into the shop. Generally, you can expect your repair to take 4-6 weeks.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes! I guarantee my work. Therefore, I offer a 6 month warranty on the repair.
How Does the Process Work?
I strive to make the repair process as simple as possible. Here’s how it works:
-
Place Your Order – After placing your order online, I’ll email you detailed instructions on how to package and ship your console or accessory.
-
Complete the Service Agreement – Before shipping, you’ll need to fill out a service agreement, which I’ll send to you via email.
-
Ship Your Device – You can use the carrier of your choice to send your console/accessory to me.
-
Assessment & Verification – Once your device arrives, I’ll inspect it to confirm the selected service matches the actual issue. If any price adjustments are needed, I’ll inform you before proceeding.
-
Additional Repairs (If Needed) – If I discover other issues beyond the selected service, I’ll provide a full assessment and updated pricing. For example, if you choose a laser lens replacement but I find an issue with the disc drive, I’ll let you know before making any additional repairs.
This ensures transparency and that your console gets the best possible care.
What if my console has additional issues after repair?
If I discover other problems while repairing your console, I’ll contact you with details and options before proceeding.
What’s included in a full refurbishment?
A full refurbishment includes complete disassembly, deep cleaning of all plastic and electronic components through hand cleaning and using an ultrasonic cleaner, laser lens cleaning, and an inspection for faulty parts. If the system has thermal paste, I will replace that. If the system has thermal pads, I will replace all of them. I also replace the CMOS battery if applicable. Please note: Systems that have faults when they come in will be charged extra for a repair service.
What if I need a service that isn’t listed on your site?
I’m constantly expanding my repair services, so there’s a good chance I can help even if you don’t see your specific issue listed. Head on over to the Contact section and shoot me an email with you issue! And we can go from there :)
What if you can’t fix it? How much will I have to pay?
While I do my best to repair every device, some electronics may be beyond repair. If that happens, I charge a $50 bench fee to cover the time spent diagnosing and attempting the repair. I’ll always keep you informed throughout the process so you can make the best decision for your device.

Do you require payment upfront?
Yes, payment is required upfront due to the online nature of the business. However, if any price adjustments are needed, I’ll be fully transparent and contact you before proceeding. For example, if you request a thermal paste replacement for an Xbox and I discover bulging capacitors, I’ll provide an updated price and get your approval before moving forward. Any additional payment will be required before I ship your console back.
